Chase Global Media Changing Gears.

Chase Global Media Changing Gears

For the last year we have been a one client story town. Bryxen Software Inc. and all their needs. We learned, they learned. We made a living, they made a better living.

With every year on the web we all grow. And with it, Bryxen Software’s needs have grown as well. For us to keep up with their demands we needed to make a decision how best to keep up with their needs.

I saw this coming last September, and realized if I didn’t create a corporate presence on this end and start training more people, we were going to flat line soon enough. Meet January, 2008 with temperatures outside our studios at -60 F (-55 C). It was so cold we couldn’t barely function. If we stayed inside, it was great, but I had to make two trips a day for two weeks.

More to the point, the current Bryxen Software Webinar Series was catching more technical difficulties than we could keep up with. Webinars are great, but in this day and era, it’s still extremely challenging to make it all run smooth. Now that we partnered with Citrix Online, we entered the big leagues.

With the likes of Web-Ex and Adobe Connect, we have positioned ourselves at the front of this reasonably new frontier. Sure if you’re lucky you might see a webinar about some shareholder’s meeting or Fortune 500 Lecture. But at the software level, only Adobe has been brave enough to try it.

The cost is astronomical, around ten to twelve thousand dollars for thirty minutes with five hundred people. We are currently set up for one thousand people at a time and we have hosted webinars in excess of two hours. And to add to this, people still had to pay for their own long distance charges when they wanted to hear audio in the webinars. Ouch!

Yes, this is what we said. We worked with Citrix for two months and consulted several hours of recommended changes. When Citrix Reps realized we knew as much as their own engineers, they put us together at the fore front in their new project. Who is Citrix Online?

They are a public stock company on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange and are major suppliers to Dell’s and Microsoft’s Server Platforms. Now we’re here. Bryxen Software continues to be our client and we are looking forward to providing them continued service.

The delay we experienced in setting up the webinars was outside the scope of their budget. We understand this totally, as this is more than just a brand new frontier, but cutting edge for Citrix Online as well. We are responsible for implementing what we believe is the solution to millions of companies needs when it comes to online live broadcasts.

Also, we have so many other developed services beyond this. In order for us not only to get a handle on Bryxen Software’s own needs, we need to train more people and provide training facilities right now. If we are going to be able to keep up to the monstrous demands for our work which goes well beyond webcasts and video production, we also need to start setting into motion some automation of our own.

And so my friends, it is with this we realized when we were setting up the next Bryxen Software Webinar Series, there wasn’t going to be a better time than when Brad Callen, decided he was out of budget on Bryxen Software’s “Next” Webinar Series. I also realized we needed to deliver on time as well.

And there were so many issues cropping up technically, it really slowed down our ability to meet our completion date. This was clearly a development phase as much as it was a production phase. The good part is we cleared the development phase two weeks ago.

Unfortunately, being completely immersed into Bryxen Sofware’s needs, did not allow us to take the time to train new people and take on new clients. And of course be able to deliver our webcast productions in a more expedient manner.

We continued to develop the current Bryxen Software Webinars Series, but also had to change gears and get our own company website up to handle all the future demands we know would end up coming from Bryxen Software after they had a taste of webinar success.

Right now we are building our Chase Global Media Service Website. It’s big, it’s a new approach. And yes it has loads of spin offs. But it was getting next to impossible getting anything done with the cold and no game face on. We decided to get a game face for our company.

It will be like the “next big thing.” I could care less really about big. It’s just that finally we are going to be able to deliver what many of you have been screaming for the last ten years. And in order to deliver promise beyond freezing temperatures and few trained staff, Chase Global Media is changing gears.
