Before we even have started our content on the page the phrase, “Webinars Increase Software Sales” is spidered five times to the Google Search Engine . The effect this has had on indexing results is the article is not indexed.
Granted it has been two days and maybe search engines do not work on weekends. Maybe we are just parking our content awaiting processing come Monday morning. I believe this to be truer than you think. It makes sense when you think of what you might have to clean up for two days if you were not at the systems and you worked at Google.
I mean imagine coming back Monday morning and realize you will not be able to start your week until Wednesday. So what do this all have to do with our topic today of “How A Google Search engine Thinks?”
For one thing, it tells us to get our content in Monday morning if we want to see it indexed at the number one positions in the same week. It means you will always need to add two more days to have your content indexed if you do not add the bulk of your pages by Monday morning, eastern standard time.
What else? Google, and I mean the actual mathematically programmed Google Algorithm; is set up to dismiss reverse engineered anything when it comes to content construction. This is a huge relief to people who know very little about search engine optimization. Not so fast though.
There are several factors regarding search engine optimization to take into account. You can do a search later on Google for them. Right now keep reading to find out how a Google Search Engine thinks. Google dismisses from our example article, “Webinars Increase Software Sales” any attempt to hard wire our content to actual indexing results.
Our testing will probably come out in a few days, meaning eventually Google will place the content somewhere. But it is clear to us, Google didi not particularily like the fact we place all the important or heavily weighted indexing factors all in one article and right up front. It was like saying, “In your face Google!”
Google did not like that. What do I mean? First the phrase, “Webinars Increase Software Sales ” is found in the title tag, then the meta description tag, then the meta keyword description tag, then the url of the article, and finally the header one with a perma link. And right after this it is found in our recent news column on the left of the page.
That is like five times before the article is even spoke about (leave out the recent news one for now). What is wrong with this when it comes to search engine optimization? Nothing if you have learned everything. But let’s take it to the streets.
Imagine you know how to build formula one racing cars. Now you take all your multi-million dollar education and go to you gargae behind your house and modify your own car. It’s great, but there’s no way you can drive it on the regular roads in your town or city.
The same goes for search engine optimization when it comes to a Google Search Engine. Yes, this is how you are supposed to optimize a web page, but Google sees this and thinks, the chances a web page would be this optimized would be maybe one in a thousand or more. Therefore, it was not naturally constructed and was reversed engineered.
So can a Google Search Engine de-list all the highly optimized pages of the past? It could, but it would have very little content to serve up which was relevant to a search. But what a Google Search Engine can do is change the rules in it’s algorithm and not accept any further web pages which are reverse engineered.
Think of reversed engineered as mechanical in nature and not natural. Google is not indexing these web pages anymore and at the best of times, it will give them a foot note in some other meta description of a web page. Google wants unique natural content written by as many different people as possible.
And Google knows why you write content. Either for creative expression or for money or for both. I fall into the creative slash make money if I can category. But what Google will not permit in any case is clever search engine optimization wizards casting their spells on its own search engine.
To stop this, Google has mathematically designed an algorithm which checks all the good known factors of search engine optimization and catalogs how many of these factors and which ones were found. If it finds too many of these good factors, just like a cooking recipe with too much of one spice, it rejects it, like you never wrote it.
The days of simply linking content and expecting a Google Search Engine to index it all are over. Google may spider you website, but it is not going to index it all unless it is naturally written and naturally constructed. So how do you do that? Use only a title and url same named phrase. Use it in the header. Make the meta description tag have the beginning of the first paragraph just as you would naturally speak about something. A hint here is it is not natural to speak of the phrase at the beginning of the first sentence. And you may do better if you mention it in the second sentence.
The meta keyword description tag, can have a few keywords, but less is better. We use to think twenty was a good amount. Now five or ten at the most will be enough. Otherwise, you take your chances. We are getting number one positions just using five keywords here.
If you construct your web pages like this, with a fuzzy factor, meaning sometimes yes, sometimes not included, it looks like a more naturally constructed website and not one which targets to manipulate a Google Search Engine’s Algorithm.
So how do you just write web pages? Easy, if you use a blog like Word Press, it does all you need to know on it’s own. It is already designed to make a keyword phrase url after the title of your posting, which is your article. At first we didn’t even have description or keyword meta descriptors in our postings. Then later we added the much needed meta description. This factor gives Google the reasons to index your content. Otherwise, Google is just indexing a link with not very much to go on and it’s visitors will not click on your indexed position, because it tells them very little about the link. Hence the meta description tag.
What I have come to the conclusion of which writing style a Google Search Engine prefers, is to go to a magazine rack. Buy one or two in the topics you are going to write about. You will notice the title, and then read the first few sentences. You will see how they pull you into the article and attract you to read more. This is the kind of writing style Google now favors.
Just write naturally about your topic and a Google Search Engine will reward you by placing your content on the first page in the number one position. Of course remember what I have said here with regards to search engine optimization factors, and what to include and not to include.
